    Tragedy in Kissimmee: 4-Year-Old Drowns, Prompting Rapid Response from Osceola County Fire Dept.

    Kissimmee, FL. – A devastating incident occurred earlier today in Kissimmee, resulting in the drowning of a 4-year-old girl. The incident took place at 2855 Woodmere Ct, prompting an immediate and coordinated response from local emergency services.

    At approximately 12:42 pm, Osceola County Fire Rescue received an urgent call reporting that a young girl had drowned and CPR was already in progress.

    Recognizing the severity of the situation, units from the Osceola County Fire Rescue and Osceola County Sheriff’s Office were swiftly dispatched to the scene.

    Upon arrival, emergency responders continued efforts to resuscitate the child. The first responders advised that the child was a "working code," a term used to indicate a patient in cardiac arrest who requires immediate and intensive resuscitation efforts. Due to the critical nature of the incident, AirCare 1 was also dispatched to provide advanced medical air care for the young victim.

    As the community grapples with the news of this heartbreaking event, Osceola County Fire Rescue and the Sheriff’s Office continue to emphasize the importance of water safety and the need for constant vigilance when children are near water.

    The incident remains under investigation as authorities seek to understand the circumstances leading up to the drowning. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
