Man thrown from motorcycle, flown to hospital in Bedford County

MANNS CHOICE, Pa. (WTAJ) — A man is reported injured after being thrown from his motorcycle in Bedford County late Saturday night.

Around 11:03 p.m., first responders were sent to the 1800 block of Glade Pike in Manns Choice to help the driver of a motorcycle who was reported to have been thrown 20- to 30-feet off his bike and down an embankment.

The man was extricated from the wooded area near the road and flown by helicopter to an area hospital, according to dispatch.

No other vehicles or individuals were involved in the accident.
