Caitlin Clark's Boyfriend is Catching Strays For Performance at Fever Competition

The Indiana Fever spent their off day on Sunday playing pickleball for guard Erica Mitchell's charity foundation.

It seemed like a great event from start to finish, and every player on the team appeared to be in attendance.

One other cool aspect to the charity event was that players were allowed to bring a plus-one to play with them.

And for Fever rookie sensation Caitlin Clark, that meant she could bring her boyfriend Connor McCaffery along for the event.

While it looked like the couple had fun playing alongside one another, fans were coming at McCaffery for his pickleball performance.

"connor and cc no synergy, guys lock in," X user @ccloveoml wrote in reply to a video of Clark and McCaffery.

Another X user commented saying, "Connor isn’t taking this seriously, Caitlin needs someone out there with more competitive . Caitlin and Temi when her hand is better would be awesome!"

"Bf is lame there. Common, man," said another.

Clearly there was no reason for McCaffery to be trying so hard during a noncompetitive charity event.

But Fever fans seemed to still have wanted more effort from Clark's boyfriend.
