Officials say 64-year-old Richard Heath from Danville was driving West on State Route 54 when he tried to make a left turn onto State Route 642 West.

Heath turned onto the path of an oncoming car, driven by Chad Knauer of Milton, and was struck, the coroner explained.

The coroner’s office says Heath died at 2:16 p.m. at Geisinger Medical Center.

There is no word about what, if any, injuries the other driver suffered.
