MILAN — Global fashion weeks dates are shifting in 2025 as reported , including the menswear showcases and Pitti Immagine ’s several trade shows.

As a result of the decision to push back dates by roughly a week in 2025 by the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, the British Fashion Council and the Federation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, menswear trade show Pitti Uomo is aligning with the new calendar.

The Florence-based men’s fair will take place Jan. 14 to 17 and June 17 to 20, for the winter and summer editions, respectively.

Milan Men’s Fashion Week is to follow, scheduled Jan. 17 to 21 and June 20 to 24, right before Paris Men’s Fashion Week to be held Jan. 21 to 26 and June 24 to 29.

In light of the new dates for men’s fashion weeks and Pitti Uomo , its organizer Pitti Immagine has also revised its other trade show dates. Pitti Bimbo, dedicated to childrenswear collections, is scheduled for Jan. 22 to 24 and June 25 to 27, while Pitti Filati unveiling the collections of yarn-makers is to be held Jan. 28 to 30 and July 1 to 3.

“The decision to postpone Pitti Uomo has been made in agreement with the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana. It ensures that the system of men’s fashion presentations remains consistent and compact in light of the repositioning of the main fashion weeks,” said Pitti Immagine chief executive officer Raffaello Napoleone. “It also helps avoid possible economic inefficiencies for non-European buyers and media,” he said.

The new dates for the U.S. and European fashion weeks were agreed upon by the four regional fashion governing bodies to ensure synergies among the different showcases.

“In order to avoid overlaps and create synchrony for the fashion calendar, the councils have met to set agreements on the start and end dates of each fashion week. The decision, which follows ongoing discussions between the organizations, aims to benefit the trade audience traveling between the cities as well as the on-schedule designers,” the four fashion chambers said in a joint statement last month.

At the time, Carlo Capasa, chairman of Italy’s Camera Nazionale della Moda, expressed pride in the decision, highlighting how it allows Milan Fashion Week to gain an extra day of women’s shows.

As reported, the upcoming September fashion calendar kicks off with New York Fashion Week running Sept. 6 to 11; the London shows are set for Sept. 12 to 17; Milan shows take place Sept. 17 to 23, with Fendi opening the week, and the Paris shows will be held Sept. 23 to Oct. 1.
