Watch Rob Parker of Fox Sports Radio’s The Odd Couple call out Steph Curry’s place in NBA history as the supposed ‘second greatest point guard ever’ during a discussion with Chris Broussard in which Parker mocks Steph for likely being the second fiddle to LeBron James for primary ball handling duties on Team USA in the upcoming Olympic Games.

Check out the segment above as Parker calls Curry’s claim as the second greatest point guard ever a ‘sham’ and ‘fugazi’ , saying if he was actually the second greatest point guard ever, he’d be playing point guard in Paris for Team USA and not letting LeBron take over that role as the primary ball handler.

Chris Broussard: “What do you think of the notion of LeBron being the point guard [of Team USA]?”

Rob Parker: “I think it’s a huge indictment of this whole talk that Steph Curry is the second-best point guard of all time. Because there’s no way if he was really considered that would anybody be handling the ball other than Steph if he’s on this team. AIN'T NO WAY, NO HOW Magic Johnson would be on a team where LeBron James is handling the ball. Or Isiah Thomas, or John Stockton, or even Chris Paul.”

Broussard: “Are you saying Steph is not a point guard?”

Parker: “HE’S NOT! The argument that he’s the ‘second-best point guard ever’ IS A SHAM. IT’S A ROUSE. IT’S FUGAZI. STEPH CURRY IS NOT THE SECOND-GREATEST POINT GUARD OF ALL TIME! IF HE WAS THE SECOND-GREATEST POINT GUARD OF ALL TIME, NO MATTER IF LEBRON DIDN’T HAVE A POSITION OR NO MATTER IF LEBRON WAS ON THE TEAM, STEPH WOULD BE HANDLING THE BASKETBALL! STEPH WOULD BE RUNNING THE OFFENSE! BUT IT AIN’T THE CASE! STEPH IS A WOLF IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING! THAT’S WHAT HE IS! HE AIN’T NO POINT GUARD! They just don’t wanna call him a ‘two guard’ because then if you do that [then his all-time ranking would be lower].”

Broussard: “So is LeBron a point guard?”

Parker: “No, he’s just better than Steph Curry at being a point guard. Whenever you wanna deem someone as the ‘second greatest point guard of all time' and then you put together this team with all these all-time greats and Steph's not in that role, that’s my biggest pushback. So, is LeBron the second greatest point guard of all time? It's an indictment of Steph Curry and it’s a sham. He’s NOT the second greatest point guard of all time. STOP IT with that. If he’s a ‘point guard’ then I got a three-dollar bill in my wallet! It’s phony as the high heavens!”
