    Serena Williams’ Wimbledon Outfits Through the Years: From Her First Tournament in 1998 to Her Final On-court Look

    Throughout her professional tennis career, Serena Williams served a lot of style on the court . The Wyn Beauty founder and 23-time Grand Slam champion merged athleticism and fashion in each match she played, acing her ability to marry Nike and Puma looks with her own style sensibility and quintessential verve.

    The Championships, Wimbledon , was the ideal tournament for Williams to showcase her proclivity for fashion, and the tournament charted her style evolution over the course of more than two decades. The tournament’s history of fashioning tennis whites allowed Williams to try new styles, and even bring a few pops of color to the court.

    The 2022 Wimbledon tournament marked Williams’ final appearance at the Grand Slam. For the tennis event, Williams wore a long-sleeve Nike tennis dress with cutouts on the cuffs. The athlete’s headband complemented the outfit.

    In 2019, Williams made it to her last Wimbledon final. Thanks to her partnership with Nike , the tennis star wore a custom sleeveless kit, which featured cutouts and a sparkling Nike emblem on the dress as well.

    For the 2015 Wimbledon tournament, Williams opted for a sheer look. The tennis star wore a sleeveless Nike dress with sheer detailing on the skirt and torso. The dress was coordinated with matching arm bands and a headband, too.

    Although Wimbledon’s dress code for tennis players dictates that all athletes on the court wear white, Williams added a pop of color to her kit for the tournament. The athlete wore this sleeveless tennis dress with pops of purple on the headband, arm bands and even on her tennis shoes.

    Williams embraced her inner warrior for the 2004 Wimbledon tournament. The tennis player wore this Nike kit, which featured a gladiator-style skirt and gold embellishments.

    Prior to her Nike deal, which came in 2003, Williams fashioned this look by Puma for The Championships. The simple, sleeveless white tennis dress featured the Puma emblem on the center of the dress near the neckline. She coordinated the dress with tennis shoes from the brand, as well.
