‘The Bachelorette’ Jenn Tran Calls Out Kelly Ripa For Insisting She Can Meet A Man IRL: “Where Did You Meet Your Husband — On TV, No?”

Jenn Tran got Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos good on this morning’s Live with Kelly and Mark .

The Bachelorette star stopped by Ripa and Consuelos’ eponymous morning talk show, where she got the chance to tease Season 21 ahead of its premiere tonight. However, that didn’t come without some light grilling from the two co-hosts.

“You’re in school to be a physician’s assistant,” Consuelos said, to which Ripa piggybacked, “You’re drop-dead gorgeous.”

“You could meet anybody anywhere, at any time,” she claimed. “Why, why, why?”

Tran, who teased that she “knew this was coming,” asked, “I mean, is Hinge any better?”

Ripa clarified that she meant meeting a potential suitor in person, like at “the office” or “medical school,” as Consuelos even offered up “church.”

Tran took a moment to ask the two co-hosts where they met, prompting Consuelos and Ripa to tell her that they met “at work,” referring to starring alongside each other on All My Children .

“On TV, no?” Tran asked knowingly, as Ripa immediately insisted that “those are not the same” and that they “were both professionals,” per Entertainment Weekly .

“Are you acting on your show?” Ripa quipped.

Ripa iterated that she “didn’t marry Mateo Santos,” but “married Mark Consuelos,” earning her a round of applause.

“What I’m saying to you is, you could meet a nice physician’s assistant,” Ripa added.

Tran teased, “Oh, now you sound like my mom.”

Both parties got a kick out of their banter this morning, as a production source told Decider that the conversation was all in good fun and everyone loved the interview.

In an interview with DECIDER , Tran revealed that she “was constantly surprised” and “on the edge of her seat” throughout The Bachelorette Season 21, ultimately promising fans “a lot of twists and turns.” Fortunately, Tran gushed that she is “very happy with the way everything panned out” and is “very excited for it all to come to light.”
