He began his career with the Philadelphia Union in 2015, where he played until 2022 before moving to Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023. As a midfielder, Aaronson has shown his skills on the field, with one assist to his name in the current season. He has played a total of 14 matches in the Bundesliga, winning three of them with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Aaronson's talent has not gone unnoticed. He was selected to represent the United States in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, marking the first time the U.S. men's team has qualified for the Olympic soccer competition since 2008.
