The Home Run Derby is one of the most exciting events in the MLB's All-Star weekend, and there have already been a couple big names announced to be participating.

The first three participants that were announced were Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm, Baltimore Orioles shortstop Gunnar Henderson, and New York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso. This is nothing new for Alonso, but the other two will be very exciting to watch make their debut.

Both Henderson and Bohm are among the leagues best and they are still young. The addition of these two young stars already make this a great lineup, but the MLB wasn't finished adding young talent to the participant list.

Star shortstop from the Kansas City Royals, Bobby Witt Jr. announced that he will be participating in the home run derby this year.

He has had an incredible season thus far, and is adding to an already amazing lineup.
