PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — A Red Flag Warning is in place for the Oregon Cascades as hot, dry, and windy conditions persist Monday.

Dangerously hot temperatures will continue to work their way back into the region on Monday. It’s the hot and dry conditions that will help increase the wildfire threat on Monday afternoon and evening. Wind speeds could gust close to 25 mph as temperatures climb to 80-90 degrees Monday, even up in elevation. Relative humidity values will bone dry Monday with percentage values hover close to 15.

Portland metro records at least 4 suspected heat-related deaths
