Lehigh Valley Business will highlight women-owned businesses in a new special section on Sept. 9.

As part of LVB’s new In the Lead program spotlighting Lehigh Valley businesses, the journal is now accepting nominations for In the Lead Best Women-Owned Businesses.

Honorees will be showcased in the journal, along with profiles on each business and their journey to success.

The special section will recognize businesses that are owned by women and will highlight what it means to be a women-owned business, how women-owned businesses support women in their community and more.

LVB’s editorial team will review nominations and select the Best Women-Led Businesses.

To be named one of the Best Women-Owned Businesses, a company must be entirely or substantially owned by a woman or women, based in the greater Lehigh Valley region.

Businesses chosen for the section can demonstrate success in the market through growth in revenues or employees, are recognized as a best workplace because of employee support programs, can show a high level of employee morale and more.
