Members of the British royal family have attended Wimbledon for years. In the 1980s and ’90s, the late Princess Diana often fashioned looks evocative of the summer season for the championships. In recent years, Kate Middleton has taken the mantel as the royal to watch at Wimbledon , fashioning pieces by Roland Mouret, Jenny Packham and more.
This year’s tournament features a bevy of high-profile stars and A-list attendees fashioning florals, including Hannah Waddingham in a selection from Elie Saab’s resort 2024 collection and Carole Middleton in a Cefinn floral maxidress . The array of floral fashion statements proves that, while the trend is a ubiquitous staple of the summertime season, the variations on how to style the trend are limitless.
