After reflecting on how fitting it felt to star in a romantic drama about divorce now that she’s entering her own “second act” as a recent divorcée, Bush Hager asked the actress how her relationship with Jonathan Majors has been faring amid his recent assault conviction and legal troubles .
Good only had praise to share for the former Marvel actor, telling the Today hosts, “Well, I won’t get into how it started but what I will say is the support that we’ve been able to give each other, the pouring into each other, the honest conversations, the love, the respect, just the care and the thoughtfulness, it’s just been really wonderful.”
The pair were first linked in May 2023, while Majors was facing a domestic violence trial.
He had been arrested in March 2023 following a domestic dispute with then-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, who claimed that he had become physically violent with her during a dispute in a private car. He was later found guilty on two misdemeanor counts of reckless assault and harassment but he faced four charges of assault, harassment, and aggravated harassment.
On Today With Hoda & Jenna , Kotb asked the actress if anyone in her life advised her to steer clear of the actor considering his legal troubles.
“Did any friends advise you like he’s in the middle of legal troubles, why don’t you you wait a beat, maybe you wait to see how everything shakes out?” Kotb asked her.

“Uh yeah, every friend advised me,” Good replied with a laugh. “At the end of the day, one thing I know is I can always look myself in the mirror, when I trust my spirits, when I trust God, when I ask God, and when I move to the beat of my own drum I can always look and say, OK, I’m proud of that.”
She added, “No matter whatever happens, I have peace in my heart… I take everyone I love’s opinion and advice into account for sure. But at the end of the day I’m the one who has to live my life.”
Majors will not receive jail time for his assault conviction. He has been sentenced to a 52-week in-person domestic violence intervention program as his punishment.
Since Majors was found guilty, Jabbari has sued him for defamation, battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and malicious prosecution.
Today with Hoda & Jenna airs on weekdays at 10/9c on NBC.
