    Lanes reopen on I-95 in Prince George after brush fire

    PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Prince George County Fire and EMS announced that all lanes on Interstate 95 have reopened after fire crews responded to a brush fire.

    According to the fire department, on Tuesday, July 9, there was a brush fire near the 38.5-mile marker of I-95 in Prince George County.

    Firefighters found multiple spot fires that were burning on both sides of I-95. Crews worked quickly to put out the flames and mark the fire under control.

    Prince George County Fire and EMS would like to remind everyone to move over for emergency cars with flashing lights to give first responders enough space to work on the side of the road for their safety.
