Despite the pair’s nearly 50-year age gap, another source said the football savant “doesn’t care” what anyone thinks about their relationship.
One of Belichick’s old pals told the outlet that “you can see the connection” between the unlikely couple.
“They are a solid duo, two peas in a pod,” the source divulged, noting that Hudson “loves his jokes” and has been a “breath of fresh air.”
“To be honest, I don’t think he would be frustrated if he doesn’t get a coaching job again,” they said. “When you have a simple life, and someone you like spending time with, it’s tough to interrupt that dynamic.”

It’s unclear exactly when things turned romantic between the two. Hudson reportedly moved in with the six-time Super Bowl champion a few months ago.
Last month, Hudson’s 64-year-old ex-boyfriend defended her new relationship in an interview with TMZ.
“She is wise beyond her years, much more than any 20-something I’ve ever met in my life,” Joshua L. Zuckerman told the outlet. “The narrative about her character is not fair to her.”
Like Belichick, Zuckerman told the outlet that he bonded with Hudson over their shared interests in “psychology, philosophy and most important, [their] love of nature.”
“I feel bad that she’s caught up in this whirlwind,” he said of his “good friend.”
