    Multiple disaster recovery centers closing in northern Arkansas, two remaining open

    NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Disaster Recovery Center locations in multiple counties will close on Tuesday, according to the Arkansas Division of Emergency Management.

    The Fulton, Greene, Madison, Marion, and Randolph county locations will permanently close at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

    Two DRC locations will remain open in Benton and Baxter counties.

    The Benton County location is open Monday-Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is located at NorthWest Arkansas Community College at the Becky Paneitz Student Center on 1211 SE Eagle Way, Bentonville, AR 72710.

    The Baxter County center is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas at 1042 Highland Circle
    Mountain Home, AR 72653.

    Residents of Baxter, Benton, Boone, Fulton, Greene, Madison, Marion, and Randolph counties impacted by the severe storm system on May 24-27 may seek FEMA assistance at any DRC.

    Individuals do not need an appointment to visit a DRC, according to the release.
