HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A second high-speed police chase took place through multiple counties after the driver posted bail for another chase, court documents show.

Jason Edward Jolley, who will turn 39 on July 14, was arrested twice in four days, accused of starting high-speed chases in Blair, Centre and Huntingdon counties.

According to multiple court documents, troopers were on patrol July 3 when they spotted a green Chevy, later identified to be driven by Jolley, going 85 miles per hour in a 45 through Warriors Mark.

Troopers said Jolley refused to pull over for a traffic stop and drove erratically into Tyrone Borough. Opposing traffic was forced off the roadway before Jolley allegedly made multiple turns through Tyrone before turning into an alley and being stopped. He was ordered out of the Chevy at gunpoint and taken into custody.

Jolley was placed in Huntingdon County Prison with bail set at $100,000. However, this isn’t the end of his story.

Original Story: Arrest made after police chase in Centre, Huntingdon Counties

Jolley posted bail through a professional bondsman and was released — Until July 7. According to a second criminal complaint, on July 7, state police were requested to assist Ferguson Township police in Centre County with an erratic driver in a green SUV around the Centre and Huntingdon County border.

Jolley and the green SUV were spotted on SR45, west of the AG Progress grounds. State police said he refused to pull over as he got to Franklin Township. Troopers noted he hit speeds of 95 miles per hour and forced oncoming traffic to swerve to miss him.

After being boxed in, troopers said that Jolley exited the SUV and tried to jump the guard rail but he was pulled back onto the roadway and arrested. Troopers noted in the charges that Jolley was yelling that he was trying to set up a “21-mile perimeter” to “keep people safe.”
