Trash pickup problems in Greenbrier County

LEWISBURG, WV (WVNS) – Some people in Eastern Greenbrier County say they were left without a source for trash pickup for quite some time.

Kevin McMillion lives in the area. He says hotels, apartment buildings, and businesses are all suffering from the trash pickup issue.

The trash company for this area is Greenbrier Valley Solid Waste.

59News traveled to Greenbrier County to investigate. We were unable to make contact with Greenbrier Valley or county officials.

However, what we did discover is a Facebook post from June 28, 2024.

It was posted by Greenbrier Valley Solid Waste telling customers about what is going on. Here is what they had to say.
