‘Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard Reacts After The Internet Uncovers Her Secret Boyfriend’s Identity: “It Is Not His Job To Be Public Like Me”

Shortly after Lindsay Hubbard broke the internet with news of her pregnancy , the identity of her mysterious boyfriend and baby daddy has been disclosed.

Both Page Six and People report that Hubbard’s boyfriend is Dr. Turner Kufe, whom, according to the latter source, is a doctor working in biotech investing.

Decider reached out to Hubbard’s publicist for confirmation and comment, but did not hear back by time of publication.

Hubbard had previously shared a picture of herself and her boyfriend in an Instagram post earlier this week, though his face was covered by a brown heart emoji.

“Wedding in Portugal (baby daddy was there to help): 4/20,” she wrote regarding the picture.

After Hubbard’s boyfriend’s identity was exposed, Bravo fan account @bravoandcocktails_ posted that they are “aware Lindsay’s boyfriend’s identity has been made public online,” and that “while [they] painted a picture of who he was [they] never reveal names, employment etc. of private people.”

“If and when she posts him on her public insta then it’s fair game,” they continued. “Until then we don’t post that info.”

In response, the Summer House star took to her Instagram story on Wednesday (July 10), reposting the message and thanking the account, as well as “any other fan account that has respected [her] boyfriend’s privacy.”

“This is not about us being proud of each other or not,” she added. “He is so beyond proud to be my boyfriend and father of my child, and vice versa. We are very much in love and have a beautiful relationship. This is about his work, his privacy, and the fact that it is not his job to be public like me.”

Hubbard had iterated these sentiments in an interview with People published on July 5, explaining that “he’s a private person, mostly because of his high-powered job.”

“Obviously, I’m a very public [person] and share pretty much every aspect of my life with the world, so I know it’s weird,” she added. “But I need to respect his privacy here.”

Summer House ‘s own Paige DeSorbo seemingly predicted Hubbard’s pregnancy, as she comforted her after Carl Radke , her ex-fiancé, broke off their wedding.

“In a year, you could be married with a baby with the love of your life. Let him go so that someone can come in,” DeSorbo said at the time.

Both Hubbard and Radke are confirmed to return for Summer House Season 9, per Variety .
