A collection of Swifties in Switzerland caught Taylor Swift’s attention at a recent Eras Tour show—though not for as positive a reason as they might have hoped.

In video footage shared on social media this week, concertgoers were seen enthusiastically singing along to one of the pop star’s hits during the Red section of her performance. However, their eagerness to belt out the lyrics was a bit premature, a fact not lost on the megastar performing onstage.

As shown in one video shared on TikTok by @yarennn_26, fans close to the stage at Stadion Letzigrund in Zürich on Wednesday, July 10, accidentally messed up the timing while singing along to “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” The song is a fan favorite from Swift’s 2012 album Red .

While Swift, 34, and her dancers moved from one part of the stage to the other during a break in the lyrics, a large group of fans at the edge of the stage began singing, “I remember when we broke up the first time.” Swift looked in their direction and walked toward them, waving one arm as if to point out the timing error. Moments later—when the timing was right—Swift sang the same lyric into her microphone, subtlety correcting the mistake without missing a beat.

The TikToker who posted the video added a text overlay that read, “Taylor’s disappointed face when they started to sing early lol.”

“I love the ‘guys no, look follow me…’😂,” one TikToker chuckled in the comment section.

“Lmao this is funny 😂😂😂,” another TikToker wrote.

While one fan dubbed Swift the “greatest of all time” for her reaction, another admitted they were among those who “started to sing early 🤣.”

“Speaking of Swiss clockwork 😭😂,” one person joked.

A Swiftie on X (formerly Twitter) reshared the video on the social media platform on Thursday, July 11, writing, “her scolding face when they started singing too early 😭 that’s mother.”

One X user described Swift’s reprimanding look in the video as being “sooo english teacher,” while another pointed out that the crowd’s mistake had, at the very least, captured the 14-time Grammy Award winner’s attention.

“But when she started singing, they got her full attention for a few seconds ! They loved it,” the fan wrote.

Swift’s Wednesday show marked her last planned Eras Tour show in Zürich. She is next scheduled to perform for two nights in Milan, Italy, over the weekend before bringing her hit international tour to Germany.
