    Two Loudoun County firefighters injured while battling porch fire

    LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — The Fire Marshals Office is working to learn what caused a fire to break out in Loudoun County on Thursday.

    In a post on X , just after 11 a.m., the Loudoun County Fire Rescue said crews were called to the 200 block of Edwards Ferry Road, NE.

    Officials said when crews arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from the porch.

    Loudoun Fire Rescue said the fire is out. However, two firefighters sustained minor injuries.
