Kern County Sheriff’s Office ‘Your Badge Awaits’ hiring event happening July 20th

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — If you’re on the hunt for a new career, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a hiring event next weekend.

The hiring process for any job can often be long and intimidating. To help curb those feelings, KCSO is hosting a “Coffee with a Recruiter” event to help create a relaxed environment during the early steps of the hiring process.

The event will be happening at the Starbucks on 6001 Niles Street, on July 16th from 3 to 5 p.m. KCSO will provide free coffee and talk to recruiters who are sitting in the job you’re interesting in applying to.

Also, on July 20th, you can attend the “Your Badge Awaits” job fair at the regional training center on Norris Road. Human resource professionals, background investigators and other staff members will be there, ready to answer questions about the hiring process, benefits included and the training academy.
