    Hennepin County sheriff

    Greenfield

    - On July 2, a deputy responded to an address on the 7500 block of Highway 55 for an accident. The deputy called the reporting party and took a report. The party stated that he hit a deer with his vehicle and caused damage. The deputy filled out a state accident report.

    - On July 4, deputies responded to an address on the 4800 block of Highway 55 for a domestic disturbance. Officers made contact with a male who stated he had warrants, he was detained and denied needing medical care. The party was interviewed and stated that he was attacked, he had minor injuries. The party did not want to press any charges. One male was taken to jail on two warrants from outside the county.

    - On July 5, a deputy responded to the intersection of Rebecca Park Trail for an accident injury involving one vehicle. The deputy spoke to the parties and both refused EMS. The deputy cleared with a report after the vehicle was towed.

    - On July 7, a deputy responded to an address on the 7900 block of Vernon Street for a report of a mailbox that was damaged by fireworks. The box had burn marks and the plastic part of the mailbox was in multiple pieces. The homeowners were out of town during the incident and do not know when it happened.

    - On July 7, a deputy responded to an address on the 6700 block of Woodland Trail for a damage to property report. The deputy arrived on scene and documented damage to a mailbox and mail. The deputy was advised by the property owner that they observed a Blue Toyota 4Runner stop at the end of their driveway.

    Rogers

    - On July 3, a deputy responded to a business on the 13400 block of Rogers Drive for a warrant arrest. The deputy met with a Wright County Sheriff’s Office deputy in Rogers to take custody of and transport someone with a Hennepin County warrant. The deputy confirmed the warrant with Hennepin County clerks and the party was booked into jail.
