In an update on the litter of "orphaned" Maine Coon kittens, more people fall in love with their growing personalities.

On July 10, 2024, TikTok user Sassy Koonz (@sassykoonz) shared a video update on the Maine Coon orphan kittens, and it's so sweet. Take a look!

In a minute-and-a-half-long video, we hear more about the little orphan cats who unfortunately lost their mama. The kittens are getting older and now their personalities are starting to shine through.

She then holds up each of the kittens and shares a bit about their personalities.

First up is Cottonmouth! "He's got a wild expression," she says, "He thinks I'm his mom. He just nuzzles up on my neck," And "he's the super sweet one."

Next up was his brother, Chapter 2, who she describes as being a "follower" and someone who would go along with troublemaking if someone else was.

Then, the gorgeous Silver Scream. "She's going to be staying with me," the cat mom shares. "She is real quiet, not a hell-raiser; she just kind of nonchalant."

Sugarman was next and "he's got a real cute personality. I see him being very amiable and friendly and doesn't cause any trouble," she shared.

And then the troublemaker, Envy . "She's the hell-raiser of the bunch. Tou see that spot right there of red on her head? she asked before joking that the red furl is why she's as sassy as she is.

The cat mom hopes to see if their current personalities at 6 weeks old match up to who they are when they're eight weeks old. In the comments, people expressed a lot of love for these kittens.

"OMG, I love them all," one person wrote.

"Y'all look the same," another shared.

"Awww, I want one," someone else wrote.

"I had a Maine Coon he was the best cat, so loving and snuggly," declared another.

In a previous video, the cat mom shared some details on why these kittens are "orphaned," and their mom unfortunately died.

Her mama, Slinky, succumbed to an Intussusception, which is "a serious condition in which part of the intestine slides into an adjacent part of the intestine," the Mayo Clinic explains .

More Details About Intussusception in Cats

According to the American College of Veterinary Surgeons , an intussusception can happen in any cat but is more commonly associated with cats who have inflammation issues due to intestinal parasites, infections, "abrupt dietary changes," tumors or masses, or if they've had any surgery on their intestines.

"Dogs and cats that develop intussusceptions have generally been having episodes of diarrhea or vomiting before the intussusception occurs," the college explains. "Small volumes of bloody diarrhea, abdominal pain, or a palpable abdominal mass are suggestive of an intussusception."

They explain that intussusceptions can be "chronic or intermittent," which means sometimes they resolve themselves and then happen again.

Adding, "Dogs or cats with a history of vomiting or diarrhea for more than a day or two should be evaluated by your primary care veterinarian, particularly if associated with depression and loss of appetite."
