Television audiences eagerly anticipate the return of country music icon Reba McEntire to the small screen with her highly anticipated new sitcom, 'Happy's Place.' Following her acclaimed roles in past television successes, Reba's latest venture promises to blend her humor and heartfelt storytelling in a new way.

Recently, NBC released the official premier date will be Friday, October 18. Fans have greatly anticipated this news since the title of the show was first revealed back in May. At the time, NBC only confirmed the premiere for the fall, slated to occupy the 8 p.m. ET time slot.

Produced by Universal Television, 'Happy's Place,' will feature some familiar faces from her previous hit sitcom, 'Reba.' Melissa Peterman, known as Barbara Jean in her previous role, will return to the screen with McEntire. Rebas real life boyfriend, Rex Lin and Belissa Escobedo will also play a important roles. Lin is a veteran actor known for his roles in 'Young Sheldon", "Cliffhanger" , and "Big Sky" to name a few. Escobedo is a young actress also seen in "Hocus Pocus 2", and "Blue Beetle."

While many details remain under wraps, viewers have gleaned some insights into the plot of 'Happy's Place.' In the series, Bobbi, portrayed by McEntire, unexpectedly inherits her late father's restaurant and finds herself co-running it with a newfound step-sister.

McEntire is playing many roles as the executive producer of the show with an experienced team by her side including Kevin Abbott, Mindy Schultheis, Micheal Hanel, and Julie Abbott.

The 'Fancy' singer herself is currently juggling multiple projects, gearing up for the premiere of "Happy's Place," returning to 'The Voice ' for season 26, and launching her latest music release titled "I Can't," which debuted in May. The Queen of Country Music has a lot on her plate, and fans are loving every bit of it.

Anticipation is building for October, when 'Happy's Place' will premiere and play every Friday evening. In the meantime, catch up on the original McEntire sitcom, 'Reba,' recently re-released onto Netflix.
