The Minnehaha Falls Art Fair is shaking things up when it returns for its fifth year over the weekend of July 19.

While still relatively young, it has expanded rapidly to become one of the Twin Cities ' most anticipated art fairs. This year's iteration will feature nearly 200 artists showcasing paintings, ceramics, textiles, screen-printing, woodwork, photography, and more.

Additionally, the fair will debut the "Vintage & Funky Fest," a vintage market with 25 vendors on the south side of the waterfall where food trucks and DJs will also be stationed.

In another significant change this year, every stand will have items priced at $30 or lower in an attempt to ensure that the fair is financially accessible to all.

As it has in the past, the Minnehaha Falls Art Fair will again be a zero-waste event, with efforts made to ensure that everything is compatible and recyclable so nothing winds up in the landfill.

Beyond the art and vintage market, bands will play throughout the weekend at the Minnehaha Park Pavilion, including performances from Ingrid Streitz, Charlo, Mactir Irish Dance Company, Prairie Fire Lady Choir, Matt Yetter, Gabriela Sweet, and others.

Food trucks, as well as a pair of beer trucks, will be available, and the park's restaurant, Sea Salt Eatery , will be open throughout the weekend.

    The Minnehaha Falls Art Fair takes place July 19 from 3–8 p.m., July 20 from 10 a.m.–7 p.m., and July 21 from 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
