Dollar General just announced a major collaboration with Dolly Parton , and if the two names went any better together, an official “Dolly General” rebranding may as well be in order. According to the official announcement released on July 9, the Tennessee-based company is set to debut a multi-category kitchen and housewares collection from the Queen of Nashville herself.
Dolly’s collection, inspired by her rural upbringing in the Smoky Mountains, is a nod to her legacy as well as key moments from her early life. Geared towards the true fans who are out there workin’ "9 to 5" and the ones who still have plenty of “Rockin’ Years” ahead of them, this collection of kitchen and tableware items is sure to add a spark of Dolly’s iconic style to any space.
“Our shared humble beginnings make this a special program for Dollar General,” Emily Taylor, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Dollar General, shared in the press release. “We are thrilled to bring this exclusive collection, curated by one of the most iconic stars in country music, to DG customers.”
