    2024 Choctaw Indian Princess crowned

    CHOCTAW, Miss. ( WJTV ) – During the opening night of the 74th Choctaw Indian Fair , Leilani Elyse Allen, 21, was crowned the 2024-2025 Choctaw Indian Princess.

    Allen is the 69th young Choctaw woman to hold the title of Princess and joins an elite and exclusive circle with the honor and responsibility of representing the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians.

    She will graduate from Meridian Community College in August 2024 with an associate’s in business information systems. Allen has plans to attend Mississippi State University to get her bachelor’s degree in business information systems. She hopes to become a web developer one day.

    The first alternate is Lexi Camille Rodriguez. Allen was also selected as Miss Photogenic, and Lexi Flint was selected as Miss Congeniality.

    During her reign, Allen serve as the Tribe’s representative and goodwill ambassador at many special events, such as groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, conferences and other special ceremonies, occasionally alongside Tribal Chief Cyrus Ben.
