Tiny Dachshund Puppy Is '3 Pounds of Pure Attack Dog' and People Can't Get Enough

When it comes to running a house, big dogs seem to have a leg up on their smaller fur siblings due to their size alone. This is not the case with Earl the Dachshund. He's a whopping 3 pounds and is already putting the older dogs in their places!

In a July 9 TikTok video shared by @naynayblevins , Earl decides he's king of the house now and he's going to let the big dogs know it! See Earl's sass below!

In the 9-second video captioned, "3 pounds of pure attack dog," the tiny but mighty Dachshund is sitting in a bedroom as one of the older dogs attempts to walk by. "I hope the big dogs are easy on the new puppy," the video says jokingly, but the big dogs aren't in charge anymore, and there will be no walking through any room without Earl's permission!

He "attacks" his older brother, nipping at his heels and barking in his face as he herds him out of the room altogether. Sorry, fellas, but Earl runs things now, so everyone in the house should get on board. Many of the account's 44,000 followers chimed in to comment on the hilarity of the scene.

How Big Do Dachshunds Get?

Tiny little 3-pound Earl is a menace in disguise (which is what makes the breed so fun!), but how much bigger will he get? The American Kennel Club says Dachshunds can grow to be standard-sized which is usually 16 to 32 pounds, or miniature, which can be about 11 pounds or under. It's unclear which breed Earl is, but he's just as cute at whatever size and has the personality to outmatch anyone.

This breed is also well-known for having big dog barks and attitude, throwing sassy tantrums , and can be quite stubborn, often times rash, making them the perfect watchdog. Nothing scares them, not even bigger. stronger dogs, and they'll stand up to anyone in their way.
