Jason Kelce doesn't always sign a stranger's baby—but when he does, fans go wild.
From July 10 to July 14, the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship is held at Lake Tahoe, Nev. The annual fundraiser features athletes, TV personalities and celebrities. And for 2024, Jason and his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce , were among the star-studded competitors .
A video shared by the X account for the Kelce brothers' podcast, New Heights , showed the retired Philadelphia Eagles center signing a baby's shirt at the event. In the clip, Jason used a black marker to sign his name on the back of a baby's blue shirt as a caregiver held him.
"Are you beating your brother so far?" someone standing nearby asked Jason, to which the 36-year-old joked, "I am the opposite of beating him; I'm beating myself."
In the comments, X users couldn't get over the hilariously sweet video, with one person writing, "The baby’s grip on the dad is absolutely adorable. 'Dad there’s some weird wet feeling on my back???? Help.'"
Another person declared, "It’s neck and neck at this point for cutest brother."
Meanwhile, someone else joked, "Hope they’re taking the baby straight to the tattoo shop after this."
Interestingly, signing babies has become somewhat of a "thing" for the elder Kelce brother following a conversation with Travis in an episode of New Heights . During their chat, Travis shared that the weirdest thing a fan asked him to autograph was their baby.
"I did not put a Sharpie on a baby," Travis clarified after Jason asked where he signed it.
"If that baby would've went to the hospital, I would have felt..." Travis said before Jason interrupted, "What would it have gone to the hospital for?"
"I don't know, lick its hand, lick its arm," Travis said. "Isn't Sharpie bad for skin? You're a dad, you should know these kind of things."
After Jason shared an anecdote about stressing less about germs with each of his three daughters , he declared, "I'll sign a baby. Gimme a baby, I'll sign it."
And as it turns out, Jason is a man of his word!
