ROCK COUNTY, Wis. -- The Rock County Planning and Development Agency announced Tuesday it has funding available to assist with recovery from recent tornado and heavy rain events.

The Agency said funding is available for owned residences outside the cities of Beloit and Janesville, for households at or below 80% of the County median income. The fund availability will be in the form of a grant, with no repayment required for eligible applicants.

The Agency said funds can be used for structural repair to the primary residence not covered by insurance, such as roof, siding, HVAC, windows, sanitary improvements, and more. Damage cleanup, personal property loss, accessory structure repair, and costs already incurred are ineligible.

Applications can be made by contacting the Wisconsin Partnership for Housing Development directly at (608) 258 - 5560, or at info@wphd.org .
