COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Colleton Medical Center experienced a facility-wide loss of air conditioning on Saturday.

All inpatients were taken to Trident Medical Center, Summerville Medical Center, and Live Oak Mental Health and Wellness for continued care.

The hospital’s emergency room remains open for walk-in emergency care service.

Colleton Medical Center said all outpatient services scheduled for Monday, July 15 are being rescheduled.

“New AC units are on the way and Colleton Medical Center will return to full operations when we can ensure the comfort of our patients, their families, and our team members,” the hospital said.

A patient support line was established for those with questions: 844-482-4821.
