Taylor Swift had fans doing a double-take as she stepped out on stage for her first night of the coveted Eras Tour in Milan .

Known for her glitzy tour looks, the 34 year old hitmaker waved goodbye to tradition when she donned not one, but two fresh ensembles during last night's performance.

Taylor usually takes the stage in an array of gold and silver dresses for her Fearless set. This time though, the songstress caused audible gasps when she emerged wearing a snazzy tiger-striped dress in a chevron pattern.

But the surprises didn't stop there. Instead of her standard white Vivienne Westwood corset-styled dress scrawled with "I love you, it's ruining my life" for The Tortured Poets Department set, our pop queen opted for a different approach.

She maintained the same style, but replaced the heartfelt lyrics from 'Fortnight' which usually adorn her dress with a defiant: "Who's afraid of little old me? You should be."

With these unexpected twists, Swift left fans eagerly anticipating what other surprises her second night might hold.

Swifties are buzzing with excitement over the hitmaker's wardrobe choices, sparking theories of an album release. One fan speculated on social media: "Omg new dress in rep style and blue/blue my theory that she's gonna drop a double album with Taylor swift and reputation is more and more true," linking her all-blue attire to the 1989 set.

Another enthusiast gushed about the fresh look: "THE NEW DRESS IS SO CUTE KINDA LOOKS LIKE A PINWHEEL."

Meanwhile, a third observer mused: "OK NEW FEARLESS DRESS WHICH IS REPUTATION-CODED HMM, SO WHAT IF TAYLOR WEARS A NEW REP-CODED DRESS FOR AN ERA IN EVERY SHOW AND AT THE END SHE'LL FINALLY WEAR A NEW DRESS FOR REPUTATION ERA AND SHE'LL ANNOUNCE REPUTATION TV! ? ! ? CLOWNS, WALK WITH ME."

Commenting on the TTPD dress, one person remarked: "taylor's new dress says 'who's afraid of little old me? ' bc we SHOULD fear her and she wants us to know it like she has us in such a chokehold its insane."

Echoing the sentiment, another said: "WE ARE AFRAID OF HER." And yet another added: "I fear Rep TV is coming, I'm clowning."

The attention to detail didn't stop at dresses; fans also noticed a change in Swift's gloves during the TTPD set. Traditionally opting for plain black or white gloves, Swift introduced sequinned black gloves in London and switched to sequinned white and silver gloves for her performance in Milan.

Following rampant speculation about a major announcement on July 13, fans were convinced that Taylor Swift would either announce Reputation (Taylor's Version) or debut the music video for "I Can Do it With A Broken Heart," the next single from her latest album.
