Kelly Ripa Shares Childhood Throwback Photo from 1973 and She’s Sporting Curly Pigtails

I love celeb throwback photos, especially if they're from Kelly Ripa .

Last week, in honor of the Fourth of July , the 55-year-old posted the best slideshow of her celebrating the holiday throughout the years, dating all the way back to 1973. Talk about vintage.

The post starts off with pics of a tiny toddler Ripa wearing a red and white dress while donning the cutest curly pigtails. Can't forget the red ribbons. The rest of the slideshow consists of a sweet photo of the star and her hubby, Marc Consuelos , sharing a smooch, their luxe seafood spread and the their luxe seafood spread and the yummiest - looking flag cake ( Ina Garten , who?).

Her caption read, "Fourth of July. Fourth of July. a few snaps of celebrations from 1973-2024."

This isn't the first time Ripa posted pics of her curly pigtails from her younger years. In May, Ripa posted several pics to honor Mama Ripa for Mother's Day and I can see where she gets her cool hair from.

In the third slide of the post, the actress is standing next to her mom, Esther, who's sporting the iconic retro beehive updo . Seems like the star's mom had a signature hairstyle as she's wearing it not once, not twice but three other times throughout the post. Plus, a few shots of Mama Essie rocking long blonde locks, a brunette bob and sneak peeks of young Michael and Joaquin Consuelos (with grandma of course). See the full post down below.
