WNBA legend Rebecca Lobo knows ball.

Lobo is widely considered one of the greatest women's basketball players of all time. She was not only inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010, but she was also a member of the 2017 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class.

Now Lobo is a women's basketball analyst for ESPN, and has quickly developed into one of sports media's sharpest minds when it comes to covering WNBA rookies like Caitlin Clark.

Hence why her words about Clark should be taken as gospel.

Lobo offered Clark some impressive praise when speaking about her recent string of performances on ESPN Saturday .

"Caitlin Clark is certainly playing her best basketball of the season," Lobo said. "And what has impressed me more than anything else is the way she has been assisting the basketball to her teammates.

"She has been able to find her teammates in places they can really score the basketball," Lobo added.

"By the All-Star break, Caitlin Clark could lead the WNBA in assists," Lobo predicted.

Clark is currently second in the WNBA in assists per game, with 7.8. The player in front of her is averaging 7.9.
