On Monday, July 15, the USA men's basketball team will continue their basketball showcase against the Australia men's national basketball team in Abu Dhabi.

According to The Athletic's NBA reporter Joe Vardon, there will be some big changes coming to Team USA's starting lineup in the upcoming exhibition match. Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum and Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards are expected to enter the starting lineup.

In the first scrimmage against Canada a few days ago, coach Steve Kerr went with a starting lineup consisting of Stephen Curry, Jrue Holiday, Devin Booker, LeBron James, and Joel Embiid. It is uncertain who Tatum and Edwards will replace, but Kerr is looking to mix things up to find the best rotations for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics.

Based on the footage Vardon shared on X (formerly Twitter), it appears that Tatum and Edwards could be replacing Holiday and Booker in the lineup, as both have the starting blue jerseys on in practice.

If the video speaks for itself, then the new starting five for Team USA against Australia would consist of Curry, Edwards, LeBron, Tatum, and Embiid. But nothing is definitive just yet.

Another big change will come for Team USA on Monday, as Celtics guard Derrick White has joined the team and is expected to play his first exhibition game.
