Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

Tyreek Hill has watched the NFL wide receiver market reset in recent years. While his $30M annual salary is still near the top, it's been surpassed by three players. Justin Jefferson ($35M), A.J. Brown ($32M) and Amon-Ra St. Brown (just north of $30M) all sit ahead of him, but the Miami Dolphins star isn't sweating it.

During a recent segment of "SportsCenter" on ESPN, Hill addressed his contract and said he knows the Dolphins "will do what's right" when it comes time for him to get a deal, as Omar Kelly of the Miami Herald highlighted.

“I’m just very like glad the position that I’m in now, man. The reason I say that is, I know when it’s time for me to get a deal, the Miami Dolphins will do what’s right. I’m very content with where I’m at right now. My mindset and my focus right now is making sure that I’m able to help this team win it all, which is the Super Bowl, and I’m real content with that," Hill told ESPN.

"I’m going into year nine now. Money is the least of our worries right now. Like the biggest thing right now is being able to grab onto something that we can hold onto for the rest of our lives, as a brotherhood, as a fan base, as an organization. If we’re able to do that, I’ll be happy.”

Hill followed that up by reiterating that he knows the contract extension will come and "whenever it does," he'll be happy.

It's fair for Hill to have that expectation, and he's been more than worth the money for the Dolphins thus far. Over his first two seasons in Miami, Hill has topped 1,700 yards and is fresh off a career year in 2023, finishing with 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns, his second-most in a single season.

The big question for the Dolphins is what his future deal could look like, considering the team is currently in contract negotiations with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. They also rewarded Hill's teammate and fellow wideout Jaylen Waddle with a three-year, $84.75M contract extension this offseason.
