Anant Ambani Gifts Groomsmen Rose Gold Audemars Piguet Watches Valued at More Than $200K Each at Wedding

Anant Ambani, the son of Asia’s richest man, married Radhika Merchant in Mumbai on Friday. The couple’s lavish festivities have garnered worldwide attention, with celebrity guests including Kim Kardashian , Nick Jonas and John Cena attending the ceremony.

The bride and groom aren’t the only ones who received gifts in honor of their nuptials: Ambani thanked his groomsmen with presents of limited-edition Audemars Piguet watches, which are each worth more than $200,000.

The 18-karat rose gold timepieces , worn by Bollywood stars Meezaan Jaffrey, Veer Pahariya and Arjun Kapoor over the weekend, feature dark blue subdials and sapphire crystal calibers. The watches include perpetual calendars, display the weeks of each year and moon phases. They’re also water resistant in depths of 65 feet or less.

Groomsmen Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh were also gifted the lavish accessories. Singh is married to fellow Indian A-lister Deepika Padukone, who is known as the country’s highest-paid actress. Padukone has served as a brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton, Levi’s and Tissot.

Ambani’s wedding to his longtime girlfriend, Merchant, featured high-profile guests, including politicians and influential businesspeople like Mark Zuckerberg, Tony Blair and Bill Gates. Most attendees opted for traditional Indian dress, including sarees, sherwanis and lehengas, nodding to the couple’s shared culture.

The event, which is projected to cost more than $600 million, has spanned more than five months, featuring a series of gatherings including a performance by Rihanna, where the bride-to-be wore a custom Versace gown.
