A fan-favorite piano on the Eras Tour may have finally reached its ninth life during Taylor Swift's stint in Milan.

In new video footage from the acoustic section of the "Karma" songstress' second and final night in the Italian city, the top of her floral, painted piano—which is really just an elaborately concealed keyboard—appeared to get stuck open during the second surprise song of the night, with Swift and a member of her crew both fighting to clear an obstruction and get it back in place.

"You know what, we finally broke it," Swift said into the microphone. "We have finally broken this thing."

She laughed into the microphone as she continued to struggle with the lid, offering a befuddled, "Hmm," before it slipped back into place, and when it was all back in working order she celebrated, "Oh! I did it!"

The beautiful floral design on the back of the piano, which is a combination of painted vines and leaves with fabric flowers, quickly became a fan favorite when the tour began last March, with artistic Swifties creating ornaments and designing outfits inspired by it.

It's faced a tough environment over the nearly year-and-a-half-long duration of the Eras Tour so far, with a massive rainstorm on the second night of her weekend at Gillette Stadium apparently causing it to malfunction on the third night when it played a deep low note of its own accord, over and over, leading the singer to joke that it was haunted.

Then, while performing in Sydney, Australia, it adopted a synth effect , requiring a reset before she could move forward.

Some fans took the above to be hints toward the then-impending releases of Speak Now (Taylor's Version) , which features a song called "Haunted," and The Tortured Poets Department , which features a lot of synth sounds throughout the album, leading fans to now speculate that she may be hinting toward her version of reputation , as many interpreted the sound of her laughter in the microphone as she struggled with the lid as the sound of a snake hissing.
