The Las Vegas Raiders have one of the best defensive ends in the game, right? Wrong. Scratch that. They have the best defensive end in the game in Maxx Crosby, and you can even make a case that he is also the best defensive lineman in the league, too.

You know what, I'll take it a step further, too. You can make a case that he was the best defensive player in the league last year. He was certainly snubbed of a few votes in the Defensive Player of the Year voting and deserves more recognition.

While all of these things are true, there are people out there that don't believe it. Sure, when fans don't believe it we can just say they are hating, or don't know the game that well. However, there are NFL coaches around the league who are saying Crosby isn't as great as he really is.

ESPN asked multiple NFL Executives and coaches to rank the best edge rushers and defensive ends in the league, and Maxx Crosby came in at No. 5.

"He reminds me a lot of Kevin Greene -- technically sound, best motor in the league, will outwork you for sacks...Doesn't have the elite traits of some of the others but his traits are still high-end," one anonymous NFL coordinator said.

So, you're telling me four other edge rushers are better than Crosby? Get out of here with that. There are really only two other acceptable answers and that's Cleveland Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett and Pittsburgh Steelers edge rusher T.J. Watt.

And sure, you can say that those two have significantly more sacks than Crosby, and that's fine. However, they do not play the run anywhere near as well as Crosby does. Playing defense is more than just getting to the passer. You have to stop the offense, no matter what they are doing.

And, Crosby is one of the best in the league at that. An NFL coordinator just found himself hating on Crosby. Honestly, he's probably in the AFC West.
