Combined Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese Roast Goes Viral Amid 'Stinker' WNBA Performances

Rookies Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have cemented themselves as the two clear frontrunners of the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year Award race.

It's hard to imagine that anybody expected Clark would be leading the WNBA in assists per game (7.8) and Reese would be leading the league in rebounds per game (12) over halfway into the 2024 WNBA regular season.

Yet, that's exactly where both rookies stand.

Although neither of them put together their best performances over the weekend.

Reese finished Saturday's loss against the Liberty with 8 points in 3-13 shooting. And Clark shot 5-17 from the field (including 2-11 from three) in Sunday's win over the Lynx.

These sub-par shooting performances prompted a roast of both rookies to go viral.

X user @yanab0015 posted on X Sunday, "CC putting up a stinker right after Angel puts up a stinker is just comedy. Basketball is funny. I know these stans about to have a field day."

The post already has over 160,00 views; and fans are indeed having a field day debating which of the two looked worse over the weekend.

Both Clark and Reese have one more game before the WNBA's Olympics break.
