GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) – The Glynn County Police Department (GCPD) say a 13-year-old male in possession of a stolen car and stolen firearm has been arrested.

According to the GCPD, on Monday just at 5 a.m., an officer spotted a Toyota Camry traveling on Georgia Highway 27 at Cary Street. The vehicle had no front tire on the passenger side and no license plate was attached.

The department says when a police officer signaled for the vehicle to stop, it didn’t, and a winding pursuit occurred during which the Camry drove in the wrong lane of travel reaching speeds of 65 mph and nearly hitting another vehicle on two separate occasions.

The GCPD said the juvenile was arrested and is now charged with Fleeing and Eluding (Felony), Theft by Receiving (Felony), Reckless Driving, Driving without a License, No Insurance, Possession of a Firearm under 18.
