    Motorcyclist wanted for speeding, evading deputies in York County

    YORK COUNTY, S.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Deputies are looking for a man who was driving almost 40 mph over the speed limit on Monday morning, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office.

    Around 8:45 a.m., a man was seen on a motorcycle going 91 mph in a 55 mph zone in the area of S. Anderson Road and Grier Lesslie Road.

    Officials say they started a pursuit but ended it due to safety concerns. The motorcycle was last seen in the area of E. Main Street and Black Street, heading toward Heckle Blvd.

    Anyone with information should contact the York County Sheriff’s Office.
