As the 2024 college football season swiftly approaches, ESPN gave fans another exciting gift Monday morning when it revealed the anthem for its new partnership with the SEC.

The 2024 season will be the first of a 10-year media rights deal that gives ESPN and ABC exclusive broadcast rights to SEC football and men's basketball events. It is worth $3 billion, or $300 million annually.

The new, minute-long montage shows multiple short clips of each of the conference's 16 teams mixed with audio clips from coaches and media members set to the tune of Luke Comb's rendition of Tom Petty's "Runnin' Down A Dream."

The combination of popular country artist Combs performing a Tom Petty classic surely has SEC fans excited for what's to come this season as the conference switches from CBS to ESPN.
