On Monday morning, ESPN released its final updated Power Rankings before the WNBA All-Star Game and Paris Olympics.

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever have found their way into the top 5 midway through the 2024 WNBA season, trailing only the New York Liberty, Connecticut Sun, Las Vegas Aces and Seattle Storm.

The Fever are currently 11-14 following back-to-back wins over the Phoenix Mercury and Minnesota Lynx this past week.

Clark's squad now ranks No. 5 in ESPN's Power Rankings, moving up from its previous No. 6 spot.

"After a disappointing 89-84 loss to the Mystics, the Fever bounced back with victories over the Mercury and the Lynx, teams that are .500 or better. Sure, neither squad was at full strength (Phoenix was particularly shorthanded on Friday, and Minnesota was without Collier on Sunday), but the Fever will take whatever wins they can get in their quest to get back to the playoffs for the first time since 2016. Better yet: Indiana has prevailed in four of its past five games against teams entering with a winning record after starting the season 0-8 against such squads," ESPN's Alexa Philippou wrote.

Indiana currently holds the No. 7 seed in the overall WNBA standings.

Clark and the Fever will face off against the Dallas Wings on Wednesday, marking their last game before a month-long midseason break. The Wings have the worst record in the league at 5-19.
