Pat McAfee abruptly shuts off air live on ESPN and set goes dark as interview is interrupted by major technical issue

THE Pat McAfee Show experienced technical difficulties thanks to a running gag by a WWE group.

The hit ESPN program shut off and went dark on live television on Monday.

McAfee was interviewing ESPN MLB insider Jeff Passan as the two discussed the MLB Home Derby which takes place on Monday.

During the sequence, the show was interrupted by the now all-too-familiar glitch by The Wyatt Sicks faction.

A message popped up on the screen stating, “You lied” followed by fuzzy static effects.

McAfee and the crew members were in shock over the technical issue.

The former NFL punter debated who was responsible for the issue.

McAfee believed that the interruptions came from producer Evan “Foxy” Fox, but he said that it wasn’t him.

The sequence caused Passan to joke that he feels like wrestler Chad Gable.

“Chad Gable’s in some sh**, I’ll tell you that,” McAfee replied.

Then, McAfee noticed that another VHS tape had been delivered to the show.

The videotape was inside a tattered box.

WWE star Nikki Cross had previously given tapes to the broadcast team during episodes of WWE Raw – the hit wrestling show in which McAfee is a commentator.

After the Wyatt Sicks debuted on WWE Raw last month, multiple production glitches have happened on McAfee’s show.

One of the glitches showed an on-screen message that read, “You lied.”

McAfee had missed an episode of Raw late last month due to a death in the family .

Still, The Sicks’ Cross delivered a VHS tape to Pat at the announcer’s desk that week.

And new tapes have come on the ESPN program every Monday since.

But before Monday, there haven’t been recent instances of Wyatt on The Pat McAfee Show due to the show being on hiatus as ESPN covered Wimbledon .

The VHS tape will likely be revealed on Raw on Monday.
