I attended the ‘tackiest’ wedding — the penny-pinching couple promised a real dinner, then served instant ramen

She’s got beef with these noodle-headed newlyweds.

A pair of hangry wedding guests are airing their grievances online after attending the nuptials of a childhood pal, hoping to chow down on a magnificent meal at the reception as promised on the invite — only to be served instant ramen instead.

The hungry well-wishers were struck with an instant wave of shock after discovering they’d be sucking down microwaved convenience foods instead of the marvelous meats they’d been led to believe would be served.

“Wedding invite asked ‘chicken or fish’,” griped the disgruntled guest in a viral Reddit reveal . “On the day of, all attendees received Instant Ramen.”

The budget-friendly bite  — a fan favorite of cash-strapped college kids and junk foodies with savory palates — consists of pre-cooked, dried noodles and a packet of seasoning spices.

To make matters more absurd — the bride reportedly is a professional chef.

“I’ve been to a lot of weddings. I’m not a snob by any means,” said the incensed invitee. “But that wedding is the tackiest one I’ve ever attended.”

Distastefulness notwithstanding, it seems brides and grooms of the day would much rather be labeled as “tacky” than “tapped out.”

Rather than going for broke on their big days — fêtes can come with price tags exceeding $26k in the age of inflation — lovebirds are creatively cutting corners in order to cut back on costs.

I’m a bridesmaid — my friend is demanding I take out a $20K loan to be in her wedding

While some pennywise pairs are serving up stale snacks to save a buck, others, such as Brooklynites Daniel Jean and Esmy Valdez are getting downright creative — the couple dished out catered meals to friends, family and straphangers during their cut-rate nuptials, held on the L train.

And a separate set of unidentified thrifty sweeties recently made waves for escalating the concept of saving on the big day to new heights, requesting each guest cough up approximately $40 to be allocated towards their post-ceremonial grub.

“In lieu of traditional gifts, we kindly request that you contribute towards the cost of our reception buffet,” the anonymous bride-to-be wrote on her invites. “This will allow us to share a wonderful meal together and create lasting memories with our loved ones.”

However, instead of reaping funds, the frugal fianceés were force-fed fistfuls of flak online.

The ramen-happy Mr. and Mrs. described in the Reddit post, too, received a heaping helping of digital distain for offering guests the salty treat with, “cubed ham, some little vegetables here and there, and kid-sized chip bags.”

“To top it off, it was also BYOB,” said the wedding whistle blower.

She added that chintzy newlyweds had just purchased a home and had honeymoon reservations in Cuba.

“My partner and I hadn’t eaten dinner, thinking we’d be fed,” she moaned. We spent the reception starving and we had to buy fast food right after to tide us over.”

And when online optimists jumped to the bride and grooms defense, proposing that they may have encounter a snafu with catering, the unhappy attendee shot down the sunny-siders.

“You would think! But no,” she wrote. “It turns out they held a meal for a separate group of people but shafted the other guests.”

“It wasn’t alerted to the guests or apologized for either.”
