London residences are some of the most sophisticated in the world. Take supermodel Cara Delevigne’s now $30 million childhood home in Belgravia, formerly owned by casino tycoon John Aspinall—a pretty peng place to shack up, if you ask us. Other neighborhoods, such as the prestigious St. Johns Wood, are also known for their worldly, one-of-a-kind abodes, including one five-bedroom house that was just listed for a cool $32.46 million.

Set back from a tree-lined street, 30 Marlborough Place offers an abundance of living space in jam-packed central London. Five bathrooms span its 7,631 square feet, plus a number of special amenities like two bars and an indoor swimming pool. While interior luxuries greatly factor into the asking price, the two-story home’s lush garden and proximity to boutiques and restaurants could be what seals the deal for some. Marcus O’Brien of Sotheby’s International Realty holds the listing.

A view of the drawing and dining rooms.

Its stately façade unfolds past the gated entry, alongside a flagstone-paved courtyard. The grand drawing room, designed for entertaining, features wooden floors and a fireplace with two carved stone mantlepieces, one stacked on top of the other. A skylight hovers over the nearby dining room, which includes a built-in bar that stands opposite a floor-to-ceiling display of curvy shelving. Elsewhere, an exposed brick doorway adds rustic charm to the stylish kitchen that is anchored by a large marble-top island. Modern appliances and recessed lighting in the space make cooking a breeze.

The principal suite’s marble bathroom steals the limelight from its bedroom, but the latter’s tall ceiling and stone fireplace are worth noting. A spacious walk-in closet and a private sitting room—which can be converted to a bedroom—are also incorporated into the suite. Another two en-suite bedrooms are found on the first floor, while the final two beds are nipped away on the uppermost level.

The lower ground floor, meanwhile, takes entertainment to luxurious new heights. A massive indoor swimming pool is featured, next to a fireside lounge with ample seating space. After taking a dip, the spacious, glass-roofed sunroom nearby does double duty as a cinema room, with a projection system and drop-down movie screen, and a games lounge include a second well-stocked bar. Outside, a paved terrace with a stone balustrade overlooks a large lawn and leafy backyard garden that completes this urban oasis that’s just around the corner from the crosswalk that was immortalized on The Beatles’ 1969 album Abbey Road .
