Travis Scott ‘s first signature sneaker from Nike got a surprise release Monday evening just prior the MLB Home Run Derby.

The Travis Scott x Nike Zoom Field Jaxx “Sail,” previously referred to as the Sharkidon, appeared suddenly on the Snkrs app with a little more than an hour to go before the Home Run Derby. According to various sneaker leakers, just 200 pairs were available to purchase — making the odds to land one quite slim.

The Zoom Field Jaxx takes inspiration from the Spiridon running shoe and Land Shark baseball cleat. Nike leaned into the latter association in marketing Scott’s new sneaker, which included a promotional trailer that debuted last week. Matching its muted off-white colorway, the Zoom Field Jaxx plays it relatively lowkey with the only branding hit being Scott’s Cactus Jack smiley face logo on the heel. It’s even missing the backwards Swoosh motif that’s been a through-line throughout his various collaborations.

Scott has now received his first signature sneakers from both Nike and Jordan Brand this year. The CJ1 T-Rexx , which has also been referred to as the Jumpman Jack in official messaging, got its first release through another surprise drop during the 2024 Grammy Awards . The “Sail/Dark Mocha” colorway eventually got a wider launch in the spring and was followed by an additional “University Red” colorway.

The rapper has been wearing the Zoom Field Jaxx and CJ1 T-Rexx in numerous colorways for more than a year now, and the signature sneakers follow years of successful collaborations with both brands, the most prolific being the Air Jordan 1 Low.

The Travis Scott x Nike Zoom Field Jaxx “Sail” will get its wider release Sept. 25 through the Snkrs app and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $170.
